Privacy

Your photos and camera

• Live try-on runs on your device. Camera frames and photos you pick stay in your browser; we never receive them.
• Color scan sends one small selfie to our AI partner Anthropic, which reads your skin tone and features. We keep the results (the skin color we measured, your undertone, season, face and eye shape and the advice), not the photo.
• Glam Up sends your photo and a preview of the look to our AI partner Google, which returns the finished picture. We don't keep either the photos or the result; you can save the result yourself.
• Copy a look sends the photo you pick (it may show someone else) and colors measured from it to our AI partner Anthropic, which reads the makeup. We don't keep the photo or the result.

Photos go to a partner only when you start a scan, a Glam Up or Copy a look. Under their API terms, Anthropic and Google don't use this data to train their models; they may keep it for a short time for safety and abuse checks.

What else we keep

• Your email address, and a password if you set one.
• Your email address and network address if you ask for an invite, so we can send you one and spot spam. Email us to remove them.
• Sign-in sessions, so you stay logged in, with the network address each one started from and when and from where you last signed in, to keep your account safe.
• Looks you save, and your quiz answers and plan if you took the quiz (the quiz answers go to Anthropic to write the plan).
• A record of each scan, advisor reply, Glam Up and copied look (what, when, whether it worked, and the network address it came from), to run the service, keep costs in check and stop misuse.
• Your network address, in your session cookie and in hour-long counters, to stop any one visitor from overusing the AI features.

Advisor messages, with your saved color results, are sent to Anthropic to write each reply. We don't store the conversation; it ends when you leave the page.

Who helps us

• Anthropic (Claude): color scans, the beauty advisor and quiz plans.
• Google (Gemini): Glam Up.
• Resend: login emails.
• Fly.io: runs the app. DigitalOcean: stores the database.

Shop links take you to the retailer's own site (for example Shopee, Lazada or the brand's store), whose privacy policy then applies. Some links may earn us a commission; it doesn't change your price.

We don't sell your data or show ads.

Deleting your data

Delete your account any time in Settings. That removes your email, scan results, saved looks, quiz answers and sessions right away. Usage records stay for our cost reports but are no longer linked to you, and their network addresses are removed. Database backups roll over within about a week. A quiz taken while logged out isn't linked to any account; email us to remove it. You can also email support@taskiddo.com.
